I’m Kathleen, a food, brand and restaurant photographer

I’m a food and product photographer based in London, love to explore the world at every opportunity, and throughout my life and travels, food and photography have both played a vital role in connecting me to both people and place. We've all experienced the magic of connection during a collective meal; an alchemy that occurs between people gathered together sharing food and flavours that has the power to stimulate conversation and make lasting memories. I’m passionate about how food can create connection and community both socially, and with our surrounding environment and use my photography to capture this elusive uniting force.

My background includes a Geography degree, a Masters in Human Resource Management and working as a British Sign Language Interpreter. Although perhaps seemingly unrelated, it has taught me the importance of the visual forms of communication. And through my travels I have learnt the key role that food can play in bridging language barriers!

I specialise in work for food brands/products, cafés/restaurants, online and print food magazines, food websites, recipe books and food/recipe blogs, and I’m personally and professionally passionate about working with companies and brands that are conscious of their impact on people and nature.

Through working closely with clients to understand their message and purpose, I love to capture beautiful imagery and visual stories that make their business stand out and draw the viewer in to want to explore more.

I bring warmth and professionalism, as well as curiosity and creativity to every project. And I look forward to learning about your project/brief and collaborating to create something truly special.
